The game of UBL Cup ¼ between “Cherkasky Mavpy” and “Budivelnyk” appeared ambiguous and on question “who is the winner” we have only three dots…. 92:92 after final siren.

Cup game start against “Griffons” reminded match against Crimean players. Traditionally, “Mavpy” began very intensive, and what was important – every one of cherkassy players scored their points. The first half of the game finished with score 49:38 for Cherkassy benefit. In the third quartet “Griffons” tried to level the course of the game but couldn’t reach any success. The final format of UBL stars weekend is announced. The show will be held in Cherkassy, on the “Budivelnyk” sport palace court and will continue only one day – 22th of February, instead of earlier planned two days. It happened because of cancelling of match “Legion” – “Ukraine”: such change was appealed by request of players, who want to play in full maturity in the central weekend match. 

 

What can visitors wait from UBL “All stars show”? The game of “Cherkaski Mavpy” and “Budivelnyk” became the central match in the line of winter games. These clubs have the most effective UBL players – Delinikaitis, Dragoljovic, DeGroat and Koljevic. The first quarter appeared effective for court-owners and they went to the first break with the 22:19 score. The second quarter was much better than the previous one due to Pupovic and Koljevic great game. Teams finished the first part of the match with 46:35 score for “Mavpy” benefit. In the first quarter visitors of basketball hall «Budyvelnik» didn’t see gust of attacks and intense game. The «Mavpy» defense was effective and Cesnavicius and Eichelberger didn’t feel themselves free and confident. Any team had no great advantage in the first quarter. The defense of «Kryvbasbasket-Lux» was rather intense and «Mavpy» felt not very free and comfortable in offence. Dragoljovic and Pupovic made less effective throws than they make usually. As a result, the quarter was lost 19:24.
