No one expected such an awful start of the game for “Cherkaski Mavpy”. Vlad Dragoljovic brought first points to Cherkasy. Only at the end of the first quarter Mavpy could pull up – Koljevic brought necessary points at the expense of individual game. Situation didn’t change in the second quarter; the score was 35:46 in favor of “Odessa”. Turning point set in the last quarter, when Chris Hill began to narrow the gap in the score. And at the end of the game the score was 89:75 to “Cherkaski Mavpy”
The main coach of “Odessa” Vitali Lebedintsev: “I thank to fans and players! And also it’s ok with team’s conscience. I think that boys played good. The question is that soon there will be no one to play because of injuries.” The player of “Odessa” Butskyy Artem: «There were not enough players on the bench. After successful first part of the game the tiredness influenced.”
The main coach of “Cherkaski Mavpy” Jovica Arsic: “It was difficult psychological game. And despite of final result, we made too many impermissible mistakes in the first part of the game.” The player of “Cherkaski Mavpy” Lokhmanchuk Yuriy: “We just gathered our strength and could change the way of game to our side. We began to play harder and scored necessary points. And new players adapted to team very quickly and qualifiedly.”
