Cup game start against “Griffons” reminded match against Crimean players. Traditionally, “Mavpy” began very intensive, and what was important – every one of cherkassy players scored their points. The first half of the game finished with score 49:38 for Cherkassy benefit. In the third quartet “Griffons” tried to level the course of the game but couldn’t reach any success. The total score of the match is 91:69.

 

The most successful players of “Cherkaski Mavpy”: Koljevic (20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals); Dragoljovic (15 points, 6 rebounds); Korochkin and Hill both scored 12 points and Kojadinovic (11 points, 7 rebounds).  

 

In “Griffons” team the most effective players are: Entony Slack (18 points, 17 rebounds); Pekovic and Petrovski both have 16 points.

The main coach of “Griffons” Sasha Vrzina: «During 30 minutes we could balance according all parameters. But we were lack of players; one of the key players is injured. We couldn’t resist opponent’s aggressive defense. We could to be saved by 1-2 players who would be able to organize the game. We are receiving “Mavpy” on Friday and I hope we will be able to play with dignity.”
